Salary/equity:

$180k-300k

0.5%-2%

Role/industry:

Infra / AI (see text)

AI

Exp. floor:

5 years (soft)

Brief description

This is a mixed infra/AI role for a company building AI-backed observability tools. The idea is that when an error occurs in production, relevant telemetry gets fed into their AI to either fix a minor error directly or to call for appropriate intervention.

You can think of this role as a combination of traditional infra (hooking up the AI to the info needed), dev tooling/code analysis (connecting logs to the relevant segments of code), and more traditional product-engineering. The team is small (6) right now, and both the CEO and COO are technically-inclined.

This role is fully in-office in downtown San Francisco.

What they're looking for

They're bought in on talking to candidates we refer to them based on a strong interview, and don't have hard requirements except for approx 5 years of experience.

On the technical side, they're particularly interested in modern AI, especially as applied to infra or dev tooling.

They filter more strongly on culture-fit things, though. Expect a more geek-coded sort of type-A culture, focused on motivation, curiosity, optimization (even outside of work), etc.

What they're offering

  • Salary: $180k-300k

  • Equity: 0.5%-2.0%

  • Full Medical, dental

  • 401(k)

Hiring process

  • 20 min call with one of the founders

  • 1-hour technical round

  • 4-hour onsite
